First National Bank in DeRidder History

First National Bank in DeRidder was organized and received its national charter from the federal government May 29, 1934. The total capital of the bank began at $60,000 with total assets of $400,000. Today, the bank’s capital exceeds $23 million, with total assets exceeding $155 million. The main banking house was established and is still maintained at 131 North Washington Avenue in downtown DeRidder, Louisiana. In addition, three convenient, modern bank branches service customers on the North, East and West sides of DeRidder.

Since its inception, First National Bank has been committed to fulfilling the financial needs of its surrounding community. With beginnings as a community bank, having community values and commitments at heart, it is felt that our service and performance cannot be duplicated by even the largest banks.

First National Bank regularly receives superior ratings for financial strength, safety, and stability from BauerFinancial and TheStreet.com Ratings, two of the nation's leading bank rating and research firms, proving “that it is one of the safest banks in the country”.
